It’s something we all experience but not all of us talk about. More than 43 million Americans struggle with mental illness and more than half of them struggle in silence. By encouraging open conversations as well as developing and implementing effective treatment plans, we could aim to destigmatize this debilitating condition.

Join me as I set out to raise awareness by embarking on a multi-stage solo run through central New York’s Finger Lake region. Each single-day run will loop one of the area’s eleven lakes, totaling approximately 413 miles when completed. The dates and location of each stage will be posted throughout Stride’s social media platforms as time gets closer, including documentation, recaps, and reflections throughout the journey.

100% of all the proceeds will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization whose mission is to provide advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

Thank you for your continuous support and contribution to this great cause.

Keep Moving Forward,

-Martin
